About our door, window and glazed partition system profiles

Thickness

The 60 series has a 2mm profile wall thickness. This creates a high-strength join between welded profiles and reduces heat distortion.

Longevity

We use S2356 yield pre-galvanised steel substrate in the construction of the profile to protect and extend the life of the system.

Positive seal

Twin rebate gaskets maintain fire integrity and contribute to weather, security and acoustic performance.

High-quality galvanising

60 series profiles are Sendzimir galvanised to both the inside and outside surfaces. This creates a smooth protected outer surface ideal for painting.

Why choose a steel glass door system or window system?

Our glass door and window systems are made from steel rather than aluminium. Here are five key reasons why we choose steel every time.

Inherent strength

Steel is strong and resilient – more so than aluminium. This makes it an ideal material for door and window glazing systems.

High tolerances

If you need tight, precise dimensions, our cold-rolled steel is the way to go

High-performance

Steel is tough, corrosion-resistant and long-lasting.

Fire resistance

Our glass door and window glazing systems can be fire-rated with up to 120 minute integrity and insulation.

Quality assurance

Like all of our products, our door and window glazing systems are put through an extensive and thorough testing and development programme. From initial conception to final fabrication, quality assurance is at the heart of everything we do.

Fire-rated glass door systems and window systems

Our 60F1 series consists of a range of profiles to meet your integrity and insulation requirements. Constructed with a unique heat-absorbing infill, the 60F1 series was developed specifically for fire insulated applications.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can the 60 series be installed externally?

Yes, the 60 series can be installed both internally and externally.

  • Can the 60 series be fire-rated?

Yes, the 60 series can be fire-rated. Our 60F1 series can be manufactured up to E180 performance standards.

  • Why do you use steel and not aluminium for your glazing systems?

We use steel rather than aluminium because of steel's superior durability and its potential for large-span applications. While we don't supply aluminium systems, we do provide steel sections for existing aluminium systems.

  • Is the 60 series tested?

Yes, all our glazing systems are tested to industry standards, including the 60 series – and we carry out real-world tests, not simulations.

  • Is the 60 series compliant?

Yes. Like all of our glass products, the 60 series is compliant. Our team of experts seeks to make compliance simple for all our customers.

  • I don't know what glazing system I need. Can you help?

Yes. Simply let us know your requirements and we'll be more than happy to point you in the direction of the right glazing system.
