SR series fire-rated curtain wall
High-performance steel and glass facade systems with up to 120-minute integrity and insulation fire protection.
Our fire-rated curtain wall uses the same cold rolled, pre-galvanised or stainless profiles from our large-span SR system. These profiles are used in conjunction with specially produced fire-resistant gaskets and profiled stainless steel pressure plate.
Up to 120 minutes EI performance
Tested to BS476, EN1364 and DIN 4102
Any thickness and type of fire-rated glass
Comprehensive technical support
Integrity or integrity and insulation options
Our SR series fire-rated curtain wall goes from 30 minutes up to 120 minutes for integrity only and integrity and insulation fire protection. For rooflight application, integrity and insulation goes from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between "integrity only" and "integrity and insulation"?
"Integrity only" applications prevent the passage of fire through an assembly for a given time. By contrast, "integrity and insulation" applications stop the spread of fire and the radiant heat. This helps protect escape routes and building boundaries from the spread of fire.
Integrity only glass can stop the spread of fire for 30 or 60 minutes, while integrity and insulation glass can stop the spread of fire and heat from 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
Do you provide aluminium fire-rated curtain walls?
All our curtain walls, including our fire-rated SR series, are made from steel rather than aluminium. This is because of steel's superior durability.
How is the SR series fire-rated curtain wall installed?
The SR series fire-rated curtain wall is installed in stick format. This means it's thermally broken, gasket glazed, self-draining and pressure equalised.
What is the maximum glazing capacity of the fire-rated SR series?
The maximum glazing capacity of the fire-rated SR series curtain wall is 90mm.
What framing depths can the fire-rated SR series have?
The fire-rated SR series curtain wall can have a framing depth of 40, 60, 90, 140 or 180mm.
What width profile does the fire-rated SR series have?
