Structural Glazing Curtain Wall Facades – SG Glazing System

Wrightstyle’s versatile SR curtain wall facade and roof glazing system has been improved with additional features that allow the installation of silicone bonded glass, for a structural glazing (SG) application. The SG series eliminates the need for external pressure plates and capping profiles – giving designers new aesthetic options.

The SG range is suitable for vertical or sloped applications and, for the first time, allows architects and designers to incorporate much larger or multi-faceted areas of structural glazing into the building envelope.

When used with Wrightstyle’s unique carrier & clip retainer system, bonded to the rear of the glass, the SG arrangement offers an extremely versatile uncapped curtain wall facade, capable of supporting large areas of glazing. This method of structural glazing also has excellent thermal performance, with no water or condensation penetration and glass units of up to 2.8M x 2.8M can be used.
