3-8a Whitehall Place . New HQ for DEFRA Department of Environment, Food & Rural Affairs. (Formally Scotland Yard Building, the first headquarters of the metropolitan police 1829 – 1890)

System supplied:
T-curtain wall system using T60120R mullions, with T6090 transoms. Capped horizontally and silicone jointed at the mullions. Glazed area was to a 4-sided internal atrium/lightwell which housed the lifts, rising over 9 floors. Approx 700m2 in total including enhanced security areas.

The system includes high strength system profiles produced from architectural quality hot rolled steel profile. This is fitted with a carrier profile that enables simple installation of gaskets, glass and capping.

System designed to take self-loading span in addition to handrail loading.
