Products Supplied: SR Curtain Walling System in Stainless Steel

Arla Foods had specific requirements for their new Milk & Dairy production facility. The main criteria, was to create an environment which could maintain the highest standards of cleanliness – hence the stainless steel. Also, the curtain walling screens have to be hosed down daily – so the high quality 316 stainless steel was essential.

The stainless steel was needed inside the building, in the processing areas. Aluminium capping was used on the external façade. The aluminium capping was essential to enable the SR system to match in with the adjacent aluminium system.

Drawn Metal Limited of Leeds worked closely with Arla Foods (even down to ensuring additional seals on the doors – to make them insect proof) and have successfully completed this project.

A high performance building requires a high performance curtain wall system – the SR System is thermally broken, gasket glazed, self-draining and pressure equalised. Available for a wide range of applications, including fire-resistance, and with a wide range of capping profile options.
